The General Periodic Inspection (in Dutch called 'APK') is a legally required inspection in Europe to promote road safety and protect the environment. Road safety and environmental performance are considered.
Autobedrijf Roeleveld is an RDW-approved inspection station. Our APK inspections are carried out in accordance with all statutory requirements. We check the brakes, suspension, shock absorbers, tires, steering and lighting of your car, among other things.
It is important to realize that the APK is a snapshot. When your car has been approved for the APK, this is no guarantee that the car will remain safe to drive for the rest of the year. With an APK, for example, little attention is paid to the condition of the engine, which means that you can end up with irreparable breakdowns even a day after the APK. We therefore recommend that you do maintenance on your car regularly.
Did you know that you can have your car inspected up to two months before your APK expiry date, without changing the expiry date for next year? This way you can be sure that your car has been inspected on time. You can easily check the APK expiry date of your vehicle on the RDW website.

CarProf supports Victim Support Fund (Fonds Slachtofferhulp)
As a CarProf affiliated garage, Autobedrijf Roeleveld stands for quality and safety. Our mechanics do everything they can every day to get cars on the road properly and safely. A car tire with sufficient grip can make the difference between a collision or not in the event of an emergency stop. With our APK campaign we emphasize the relationship between good maintenance and safety and we give substance to our social involvement. We donate € 0.50 of each MOT to TrafVic kids.
